Avangard Capital
Privacy & data protection
This notice explains how we handle personal information in the investor portal and in our reporting. Last updated September 2026.
What we hold
For each investor and authorised contact we hold name, preferred name, email address, phone number, entity details required for identification, holdings and transaction history, and correspondence relating to your investment.
Why we hold it
To administer your investment, produce unit pricing and statements, deliver monthly reports, meet our record-keeping and identification obligations, and contact you about your holding.
Who can see it
Access is restricted by role. Investors and their authorised contacts see only their own accounts. Personal contact details are masked by default in our administration console, and every time a staff member reveals an email address or phone number the access is recorded in an append-only audit trail.
Administrator logins require a second factor from an authenticator app. Inactive sessions are signed out automatically.
How it is protected
Data is stored in a managed database with row-level access rules enforced per user, encrypted in transit and at rest. Documents are held in private storage and served only through short-lived, signed links. Portal invitation links are single-purpose and expire.
Sharing
We share personal information only where necessary to operate the fund — for example with our fund administrator, auditor, custodian or broker — or where required by law. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party marketing.
What is public
Our public performance and portfolio pages show fund-level and aggregated information only. They never include investor names, contact details, holdings or account values.
Retention
Records relating to your investment are retained for the period required by Australian law after your holding is closed, then securely deleted or de-identified.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct your details, request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, withdraw portal access, or opt out of email delivery of reports. Portal access is optional — reports can be delivered by email instead.
